Customer Service Representative

Job Description:

  • Manage a consumer services email inbox and answer consumer phone calls
  • Project a positive company image on the phone and in written correspondence
  • Identify, research, and respond to consumer inquiries and determine appropriate resolution
  • Issue replacement of merchandise, components, or negotiate other accommodations
  • Provide product instructions and handle questions related to product usage
  • Keep leadership informed of consumer comments, complaints, and resolutions
  • Guide corrective action with internal partners regarding issues specific to their area
  • Update reports after conclusion of consumer communications to track volume, type, reason and resolution

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Pleasant phone manner
  • Strong organization and follow up skills and ability to handle matters with urgency
  • Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and navigating websites
  • Demonstrate flexibility and be pro-active
  • Ability to perform during challenging consumer situations
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) or tri-lingual (English/Spanish/French) is a plus
